Möbius Earth

Möbius Earth  is a continuation of Möbius Sky print. This version utilizes laser-cut 1/16″ steel as the medium. A recursive pattern of decreasing circles is further modified by a  Mobius transformation  to digitally reprojected over a hemisphere before fabrication. The circles could continue to reduce in size infinitely, but material and fabrication limitations halt the pattern.
