Lehon – A Macabre Algochill

Lehon is a new, audiovisual live coding performance of the AlgoChill variety by Shawn Lawson (visuals) and Ryan Ross Smith (audio). Using Jenssarai and TidalCycles respectively, Lawson and Smith continue to find inspiration in Star Wars lore, creating a space-inspired audiovisual landscape inspired by the “technological graveyard” and “tropical paradise” that is Lehon. Unlike an AlgoRave performance, Lehon is designed to bring a less frenetic and possibly relaxing experience to the stage, not dissimilar to what one might find within a chill-out room at a rave. A performance is can last for any period of time.
