Möbius Sky finds the limits of production through printing. Its fractal design is projected through a möbius transformation. Cartesian space is repeatedly warped through a spherical projection until the smallest feature descends below the resolution of the printer. At the smallest representations on the print, the limitations of numerical computer accuracy emerge when the circles begin aligning to an unseen grid. The recursion ends when the circle’s diameter becomes too small to print, approximately 1/600 of an inch.
