SPhoto is an Android application that expands upon MyI (2011). Like MyI, SPhoto is designed to automatically take photos and both save them locally and upload them to a server. SPhoto additionally encrypts the data and transmission to the server, allows users to add GPS coordinates and hash-tags to the uploaded images, and provides the option for setting the frequency at which photos are automatically captured.
Visitors to the website were able view the global image stream being received by the server. Users were also able to search for photos by GPS coordinate, map location, hash-tag, time-span, or user name. Visitors were also able to filter the stream of uploaded images by the same parameters.
SPhoto was funded by the Kamel Lazaar Foundation.
